Although I have been involved in construction, remodeling, repairs, and hands-on project work for more than 40 years, handyman services were never originally intended to be a full-time business. For most of the past 25 years, my primary career has been in the IT industry, while handyman and remodeling projects were something I handled on the side for friends, family, neighbors, and referrals from people who already knew the quality of my work. Because of limited hours, we only took on a small number of projects each month, and larger jobs were often completed over extended timelines.

Over the last five years, my son has worked alongside me on all projects - learning the trades and developing the same attention to detail and strong work ethic. As the IT industry became increasingly unstable, and my son reached adulthood in late 2025, we made the decision to turn what had long been a trusted side business into a full-time family-operated service company focused on handyman work, remodeling, repairs, and home improvement projects throughout the area.

We offer a wide range of residential and light commercial services including TV mounting, smart home installations, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, custom shelving, deck repairs, fence repairs, water filtration systems, networking, security cameras, appliance installation, remodeling projects, and much more.

Wilco Crew does not provide masonry work, underground plumbing, or large-scale commercial projects. Our focus is on residential and light commercial handyman services, repairs, and improvements. While we dont take on new painting, drywall, or landscaping jobs, we will certainly provide the service when needed for our existing customers.

Yes. We install smart locks, smart switches, garage door openers, irrigation controllers,thermostats, video doorbells, smart displays, WiFi and wired networks, Ethernet cabling, security cameras, and other connected home technology systems.

That`s easy. We simply charge for the time we spend working on your project. This keeps our pricing simple and transparent, and it allows us to provide honest, straightforward service without hidden fees or any incentives to rush to get done to maxmize profits. While it may be difficult to compare our pricing to other providers who may charge by the project or have additional fees, we believe that our hourly rate and transparent approach offers great value for our customers.

While there will always be someone to underbid us, we won't get in to a bidding war. We almost always come in at the lower 20% range of the typical local market prices for the services we provide.

If we can't provide a fixed estimate for a larger project, we will certainly provide an estimate of the time we expect the project to take and our hourly rate so that you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.

We do not charge a trip fee, but we do have a minimum one hour charge. If your project is expected to take much less than an hour, we would be more than happy to work on additional tasks to fill the hour.

Absolutely not. However, if we are to provide materials for your project, we will require payment for those materials in advance. This is another reason why we prefer the customer provide, or order, the materials. We will always provide you with a detailed list of the materials we need to purchase and the associated costs before we make any purchases on your behalf.
